Elle Trapkin Therapy
I have been in private practice for fifteen years. My Previous experience includes creating and directing the Outpatient Behavioral Health Program at Dekalb Medical Center, and directing the Outpatient Program at Brawner South Hospital.
I hold a Masters in Social Work from the University of Georgia and have experience working with clients with a wide range of disorders and addictions, both in- and out-patient. In addition to general psychological training, I am trained in Psychomotor, Gestalt Therapy, EMDR, and Grief Therapy.
My practice is holistic in nature, working primarily with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and general life stressors. I specialize in working with couples in crisis, where my unique approach has been highly successful.

My unique holistic approach has been highly successful with adults, teens and couples in crisis.
About Me
I work mostly with adults and teens who come to therapy with issues involving anxiety or depression. I also love working with all kinds of couples.
My Approach
Positive Psychology moves away from a focus on illness, looking instead at the things in a person’s life which are fertile ground for healing and self-forgiveness.
